Update: For better performance, I have added an OpenGL version of the Game.
I recommend using the WINGL version. Also, if keyboard inputs are lagging. I recommend trying with a controller.

Note: winGL version will hold on a black screen the first time each level loads. But after the shaders are cached, It should transition instantaneously. Some button mappings may be different with Sony Playstation Controllers.

Keyboard Controls - WASD + Spacebar = Jump
Game Controller Analog Stick to move; A or X to Jump.
A young novice is sent to Purify a Holy Shrine of a far gone saint from unseen Demons. The only thing protecting her is the light of her blessed torch. Collect the torches to keep strewn about the cavern to keep the unseen evil from taking her out.

This game was made for  the 7-day NSJS Game Jam. The Game engine is UPBGE which has come a long way from a few years ago. I focused on my art skills and character animation, and I wrote all the music. Enjoy.

The voice acting ðŸ¤Œ And sound/art direction overall! I was able to get to victory after struggling a bit with the first few jumps upon going underground. I did get stuck in the level geometry a couple of times when narrowly missing a ledge. The torches are well spread out, the last one I got just in the nick of time which was exciting. Nice work!

Thank you for playing! Yeah, I tried to get rid of as many geometry issues as I could but the deadline was approaching. I will add corrections at a later date and I'll expand the game with more content if people think I should. But I'm kind of excited to take what I learned from this project and use it on something new. Thanks again.
